Mezes
WHAT IS MEZE?
Most Turkish dinners begin with a few meze dishes, which literally translates as "a pleasant taste". The most basic definition of meze is simply a selection of meat, poultry, seafood and vegetable appetisers and street food. Like spanich tapas, Italian antipasti, and French hors d'oeuvres, meze are part of the relaxed eating style of the countries along the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas.
At Nar, small portions of wide selection meze dishes are served as the starter to the meal.
